Mermaid Comic

My friend Casey is moving to Florida and I wanted to make her a going away present. There's a place/tourist trap in Florida called "Weeki Wachee Springs" where hot women dress up as mermaids and swim around in a giant aquarium. I thought it would be funny if Casey and I got a job there and here is the result in comic form. *Extra Special Thanks goes out to Tek! for helping me come up with better mermaid gags.







Looking back, I wish I could change the way I colored it. I love simple color pallets and this comic is all over the place. It makes me cringe seeing it in thumbnail form. One of the biggest struggles was trying to make Casey goofy looking since she's very pretty in real life.

Here's a bonus page I had to drop because I ran out of time and the poop joke didn't make sense.


Anyhoo, I think she liked the comic, I was able to give it to her in person. Here we are trying to be SEXY, just like in the comic.
