Dr. Sketchy's Fun

I've been wanting to do life drawing again ever since I saw some amazing figure drawings by the man the myth the legend; Mr. Urban Barbarian. Inspiring stuff, huh? Anyhoo, My technical skills have been lack-a-lacking and I find myself drawing the same poses over and over. Luckily Dr. Sketchy's came to kcmo and I'd like to think my art's been benefiting from it. Thank you Dr. Sketchy's!

Back with a Vengeance!

...as the title states: I'm Back! Back for good! Back for frequent updates. Back To Break your Mothers Back! Back Back Baaaack! Sorry! I got a little carried away.

Sorry I've been gone so long, but it's been a crappy few months and things are starting to get better. Anyhoo, Just wanted to apologies on the lack of updates. I'm surprised you still visit this blog.

Here are 9 pages from my sketchbook. I don't really keep a sketchbook cause I always draw on scrap paper or post-its. I decided to cut out all my drawings and tape 'em to sketchbook pages. (Hope you don't mind the messiness) The pages get naughtier and naughtier. The last one make me chuckle...eh! You'll see why. :)

Oh Yeah! Please Vote for my Fist-a-Cuffs girl; Wart-Tina. She's part of the Arena Girl Challenge. Wart-Tina needs some lovin'

Wonder Woman Day Painting

I was lucky enough to be a part of the Wonder Woman Day II charity auction. The money goes to Domestic Violence Shelters & Crisis Lines. Go and bid on my painting! It's 11x17 and done with acrylics, gouache, and color pencil.

*mini update*
Just wanted to add some pre-sketches. I like these more than the one I chose because they were more Va-Va-Va-Voom! but couldn't use 'em since they weren't kid-friendly
