sidetracked
I was supposed to spend the whole day painting and doing homework, but as usual I got sidetracked and doodled for a while. I can't help it! Once I start, I can't stop! Here are the results:

Oooh. These are nice. I especially like the middle set. Been staring at them for quite some time now. Love the soft/hardness of the brown (pencil?) ones. The light in the hair and the subtle shade around the eyes. Wish I could draw.
The gal in the top left that you like, looks like the young Bette Middler.

really love the second group, really great colors and you now i love those old gals! really pretty, i love the expressions you are able to draw, thanks for the link you put up too, you are able to combine graphic shapes with soft renderings, and that makes me jealous!
